Arctic Adventures is an eco-adventure company specializing in outdoor adventure tours using only two ingredients: the unique Icelandic nature and human force.
Our operation is split into four departments:
Daytrips including combotrips Multi adventure trips and treks School trips Incentive trips and strategic teambuilding
Day trips:
We take people on Iceland’s glacial rivers in beautiful highland surroundings for a scenic rider or pumping adrenaline rush (depending on your desires). Our most popular activity is white water rafting on the Hvítá River, located 10 minutes from the Geysir area and 75 minutes from Reykjavík.
Other adventure activities that we offer are glacial hiking, kayaking, canoeing, ice climbing, rock climbing, snorkeling and diving in a fissure between the two continents above the Atlantic ridge. In addition we operate caving explorations and many hiking daytrips in South Iceland. We also offer an extensive selection of combination tours. These are a great way to cut time and expenses, two adventures in one day for a reduced price. Among our combotrips are: rafting & horse riding, rafting & whale watching, snorkeling & rafting and many more. All our daytrips are offered with transfer.
Multi Adventure and trekking:
Our action packed multi adventure trips include all our most popular activities and the must see Icelandic nature vistas at an unbeatable price. They are unique on the market because they are bookable for a 2 pax minimum and on offer all through the high season (June-August).
Our highland and coastal treks are amazing nature experiences. All the standard treks are escorted and include all food and lodgings. Our two most popular trips in this category are very different, one traverses the rugged Icelandic highlands all the way down to the coastline and the other explores the deserted northwestern coastline with its towering sea cliffs and rich birdlife.
School trips:
Our roots lie firmly in showing students from all walks of life the breathtaking Icelandic nature and its forces. To this day we pride ourselves in offering ambitious, fun and enlightening programs for children and teens. Most popular are the rafting/caving/trekking multi adventures. Special rates apply for school groups.
Incentives and teambuilding:
The incentive and teambuilding trips have evolved from our extensive array of activities and our experience of running big groups day after day. We now offer specialized activity packages for companies as well as customizing anything humanly possible.
Beyond our standard trips we remain eager to help anyone to create the perfect trips and welcome customization requests. We would like to stress that we operate all our trips ourselves, with out sub-contractors from start to finish with a simple company philosophy: “Nature Is The Adventure” !
